SUMMARY:1st Annual Sand Traps for Seizures Fall Golf Clasic
DESCRIPTION:The Centre for Epilepsy & Seizure Education in British Columbia is pleased to announce our first annual golf tournament hosted by Mission Golf & Country Club on September 9\, 2013!! \n\n	 Anyone can develop epilepsy at any age and is the second most common neurological disorder.  Approximately 300\,000 Canadians have the disorder with a staggering 15\,000 new people being diagnosed every year.\n\n	The Centre for Epilepsy & Seizure Education is dedicated to creating and providing support\, information\, and education to families and individuals who live with epilepsy\, their support staff\, educational personnel\, friends\, co-workers\, health care providers and anyone else affected by epilepsy.  It is our goal to improve the quality of life and education for those 20\,000 residents in the Lower Mainland who live with epilepsy by providing advocacy and education for appropriate seizure management as well as establishing early intervention support and programs for newly diagnosed children\, teens and adults.\n\n	We are hosting this tournament to raise much needed funds to support these programs as well as new programs in order to support the 30\,000 people across the province suffering from Epilepsy.  \n\n	 Join us and our Honorary co-chairs Randy Hawes & Nathan for an afternoon of good times\, great prizes and awesome golf!\n\n	 Helicopter Ball Drop Contest\n\n	 On course Beer Sampling\n\n	 On course Snacks\n\n	 Putting & Chipping Contests\n\n	 Prizes for everyone\n\n	 Dinner Included\n\n	 and much more!!!!!!!\n\n	 Prices: \n\n	Single Player $135\n\n	Helicopter Ball Drop $5 or 3 for $10\n\n	 Call us at 604-853-7399 or visit our website at www.epilepsy.cc to reserve your spot or purchase helicopter ball drop tickets.
