SUMMARY:Fire and Safety Fair (Fire Station No.1)
DESCRIPTION:ROLLOVER SIMULATOR:   RCMP Rollover Simulator will be on site.  The Rollover Simulator is made up of the chassis of a motor vehicle mounted on a trailer which simulates the movements of belted & unbelted motor vehicle occupants in a vehicle rollover collision.  Through the use of hydraulics the simulator spins at a speed of 48 km/h\, providing a visual demonstration of how unbelted occupants are ejected from a vehicle\, or how these individuals contact each other when the vehicle is involved in a rollover collision.\n\nGAMES/ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN:   Interactive games and fun activities will be set up for children to participate in.  Some of these activities include\; fire safety bingo\, Jr. fire fighters challenge\, dial 911\, house & hose challenge\, and many other fun things to do and see.\n\nEMERGENCY AGENCIES & PUBLIC SAFETY:          \n\nEmergency Social Services\, B.C. Ambulance\, Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue\, Community Policing\, R.C.M.P.\, and many other agencies will provide valuable safety information to the public. Fire Fighters will provide an auto extrication demo\, oil & water demo and a fire fighter ladder challenge.       \n\nSave On Foodswill be operating a snack bar\, providing hot dogs and refreshments.
