SUMMARY:Mission Community Services 40th Anniversary Community BBQ
DESCRIPTION:MCS is a not-for-profit\, charitable agency which started in 1972 with 6 programs and a handful of employees and volunteers. The agency now has 25 programs assisting over 2000 clients annually with 90 employees and hundreds of volunteers. Today\, MCS offers programs for the entire community\; from infants to seniors\, including multicultural programs and 1st and 2nd stage housing facilities.  \n\n \n\nTo celebrate and acknowledge 40 years of service to our community\, Mission Community Services will be hosting a Community BBQ on Friday\, October 19th from 11am   3pm outside the Canadian Tire Store at the Junction Shopping Centre. The event will include a cake cutting ceremony\, a BBQ by donation the MCS Food Centre\, activities for the kids\, and more! \n\n \n\nWe would like to invite you to join us on the 19th to help us celebrate this important milestone in our agency's history. The official cake cutting ceremony will happen at noon and we hope that you will come down for lunch and a piece of cake.
