A Rock n Roll Evening with Red Robinson

Please join UFV president Dr. Mark Evered, partnering with the Mission Chamber of Commerce, to welcome Red Robinson to the Clarke Theatre.

Red is a living museum of popular music and culture. What started as a teenaged passion — spinning rock ‘n’ roll records on a local Vancouver station while he was in high school — turned into a six-decade career in the entertainment business. Red Robinson is still active in the BC entertainment industry, greeting stars of yesterday and today as they perform at his Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam and playing DJ Sunday afternoons on AM 650.

And Red still finds time for philanthropic work with the CHILD Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and other charities. For his pioneering contribution to the Canadian music industry, in 2012 this rock ‘n’ roll legend was the recipient of a UFV honorary degree. When he returns to UFV, Red will be sharing some of his stories
and playing music clips with UFV’s CIVL Station Manager Aaron Levy. Bring your questions and be prepared to be entertained!

Students, faculty and staff, members of the community, and alumni are invited to come to this informal session with Red and host Aaron. The evening will be followed by a reception. For additional details,
