The Faculty of Business and Computing at the University of the Fraser Valley is pleased to invite local businesses to take part in a unique opportunity to meet with Byng Giraud, UFV’s first Executive-in-Residence focused on Indigenous economic reconciliation.
Through this initiative, businesses will have access to a free consultation with an expert in economic reconciliation, providing practical insights on how to better understand, develop, and strengthen their strategies in this important area. This is a valuable opportunity for local organizations to explore how economic reconciliation can be translated into concrete business practices, including responsible partnership-building, Indigenous procurement, inclusive economic development, and long-term community engagement.
We believe this initiative can support businesses in moving beyond general awareness toward meaningful and actionable strategies. Whether your organization is just beginning to reflect on economic reconciliation or is already developing related initiatives, this consultation can help identify practical next steps and opportunities for improvement.
