Do you know who your market is? Developing a marketing strategy that narrows your focus to speak directly to your most common customer or those who should be most interested is an effective way of developing a marketing strategy.
But how do you find them? Join Business Librarian Diana Marshall and Allan Main Executive Director of Community Futures in exploring how to define your market and the free resources available that will build your strategy.
Diana Marshall has a Masters of Library Science from the University of British Columbia. She has worked at Vancouver Public Library (VPL) , Surrey Public Library and currently heads the Information Department of the Mission Library. Her experience in the Business Division of VPL and her astute skills in reference service make her a very able presenter for this Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn session.
Allan moved to Mission in 2011 to take the position of Executive Director of the North Fraser Community Futures, a program that supports small business within the community. His background includes owning a small business, and providing marketing and management direction for a number of small companies. Allan has sat on the board of the Central Okanagan Community Futures and has been a member of a number of committees within the Community Futures organization.
