Municipal All Candidates - Mayoral

Meet Your Mayoral Candidates
There are four candidates that have declared in the District of Mission. All four candidates have agreed to participate in the November 15^th Mayoral All Candidates Meeting at the Clarke Theatre.

Doors open 6:30pm.

The Meeting will be conducted in town hall style where questions will be taken from the floor and must be applicable to all candidates. Each candidate will be given two minutes to reply to each question. Additionally, each candidate will be given three rebuttal cards to use at their discretion. Rebuttals will be no longer than one minute each. Those interested in posing a question will be asked to register on arrival and will be selected by draw due to limitations of time.

 Important to Note:
• No interruptions will be tolerated while candidates are speaking.
• The moderator will rule out of order any questions that are deemed inappropriate, offensive and derogratory or attack the integrity of a candidate.
• All candidates are to act in a respectful manner and no personal attacks will be tolerated.
• No election materials or signage may be brought into the School or into the Clarke Theatre. Any materials may only be distributed outside of the building.

Ted Adlem
I am a long term member of the Mission Business Community who feels underrepresented by the current Council.






James Atebe
After six years as mayor and twelve on council, I’m proud of Mission and all that we’ve accomplished together.






Mike Gildersleeve
I’m currently working as social worker and collaborative practices facilitator. I have been self employed as a carpenter. I’ve been involved in environmental and community groups over the last twenty years. I’m approachable, a good listener, and have an open mind.  





Daniel Williamson
Highway Construction, Forestry, Mining Exploration, Wildlife Officer with the B.C. Fish and Wildlife Branch. Now:  Starting a Photography Graphics business.
