Shred A thon

The event will be held on Saturday September 14^th 2013 in the junction parking lot in front of Vancity. 10 am till 2 pm. This is an event to promote privacy and prevent identity theft. Members of the public and businesses are invited to bring sensitive private documents to be shredded on site and recycled.  Shredding is at a suggested donation of $10.00 a box. Donations will be supporting the Woman’s Resource Society in Mission. There will be a bbq on site to have some lunch and tons of prizes! The first 50 people will receive a gift.

Media coverage will be held in the newspaper, on the radio, as well as flyers that will be distributed throughout the community.
